Anita Ron is an entrepreneur, business executive, and member at large of WOMEN’s Board of Directors. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is the president, CEO and owner of Brite Works, Inc. [http://www.briteworks.com], a full service janitorial company that utilizes state-of-the art technologies. Brite Works is a minority, woman owned corporation that Ms. Ron founded nearly 17 years ago with only $700 and three vacuum cleaners. Built on a commitment to customer service, Brite Works was established to “eliminate the janitorial headaches encountered in the business world….” Today, the company employs a staff of more than 70 full-time and part-time workers. Ms. Ron believes in treating her employees like an extended family so that they in turn take care of Brite Work’s customers.
Ms. Ron earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of La Verne California, and holds certificates from California Unified Certification Program (CUCP), Los Angeles City-MBE/WBE/DBE, SBA 8A, Southern California Minority Business Development Council (SCMBC), and State of California Department of General Services (DGS). Ms. Ron is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, a $500 million national program that provides entrepreneurs with a practical business education, access to capital, and business support services. She is a past President and current Vice President of the San Gabriel Valley YWCA, past member of the Board of the West Covina Chamber of Commerce, and past member of the Board of the Latin Business Association. She is currently a member of the West Covina Lions Club and the Latino Business Chamber of Greater Los Angeles.

In 2011, Ms. Ron was presented with the Businesswoman of the Year Award by Congresswoman Judy Chu at the Second Annual DiverCities event held at the Covina Women’s Club in Covina. As a socially conscious business owner, Ms. Ron’s mission is to empower women, stop bullying and domestic violence, and end discrimination. She supports small business opportunities to help women enhance their self-esteem and develop their own leadership potential. Ms Ron joined WOMEN to truly make a difference by giving small businesswomen owners practical tools achieve their goals.
